- Michelle Wolf: The Joke Show - Cringe-worthy, but hilarious.
- Theo Von: No Offense - One of the better lesser-known comics. Crosses many lines, well!
- Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - Well-acted, beautifully shot, and fun. But not great!
- Game of Thrones: Season 7 - A little hectic, but still keeps you enthralled.
- Starred Up - Predictable and familiar, but all-star acting sets this prison drama apart.
- Free Fire - Like Shoot Em Up, an all-star cast puts this a notch above silly shoot em ups.
- Fritz the Cat - Despite being a huge Crumb and Bakshi fan, this was my first time. Dated!
- Eli - Decent plot and cast miss the mark and multiple chances to become really dark.
- Don't F**K With Cats! - Dreadful documentary series about a chilling, fascinating crime.
- The King - Chalamet's Hal and Edgerton's Falstaff are the best parts of this solid production.
- Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile - They forgot dreadful.
- Hagazussa - Beautiful, disturbing, slow burn, channels The Witch, but probably better.
- Chris D'Elia: Incorrigible - I needed a laugh, so I revisited this underrated comic.
- The Edge of Seventeen - Stellar acting gives this familiar trope a huge lift. Woody kills it!
- City of God - No film has been in my queue longer. Brilliant in every way.
- Friend - Highly praised Korean film is very good, but works better as a message than a story.
- Sarah Silverman: Speck of Dust - Her weaving a story into a joke is masterful.
- Arctic - Mads is impressive in a snowy version of 127 hours, plus a little more.
- The House - German soldiers with hostage take refuge in a haunted house. Awful!
- Okja - Wonderful, touching, if not upsetting social commentary on the meat industry.
- Game of Thrones: Season 8 - Final season starts strong, but finishes terribly. Overall, fun!
- Joker - I'm assuming, a very misunderstood film. Phoenix is superb. Leaves you staggering.
- Bottle Rocket - A glimpse of what was to come from both Anderson and the Wilson Bros.
- Dracula (Netflix) - The writing is so bad, I couldn't get through two of the three episodes.
- Believer - Korean remake of Drug Wars. Slick, but hurt by an obvious plot twist. Great ending!
- Suicide Squad - Shocked by this one. Liked everything about it, other than Leto's Joker.
- The Lighthouse - Has everything I normally love, but the story is severely lacking.
- The Other Guys - Normally, I'm not a Will Ferrell fan, but this was hilarious.
- Bert Kreisher: The Machine - Funny, teddy bear-like party and dad jokes.
- Christopher Titus: Amerigeddon - Long, but wonderful political humor by a seasoned vet.
- Love, Antosha - Beautiful tribute documentary to the extraordinary, brief life of Anton Yelchin.
- La Pointe Courte - Varda's dual tale about questioning love and small-town survival. Subtle.
- Parasite - Oscar winner hits you over the head with its obvious metaphors. Very good.
- The Irishman - Easily the worst big-budget gangster film ever made. Worse than Godfather III
